The term "Cloud" refers to the unknown place where all your data is going to be stored. These data can be accessed from anytime and any place in any machine via internet. These unknown storage places is also called as virtual storage.

For example, Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) provides a simple web services interface that can be used to store and retrieve any amount of data, at any time, from anywhere on the web.
